The store received some infrastructure upgrades, as well as a more modern interior to make shopping more convenient and easier for customers, the company said. The renovation took six months.

“The store required a comprehensive remodel, including infrastructure. Our customers have been loyal and deserved a modern, fresh new store," Chelsea Minor, corporate director of public affairs for The Raley’s Companies, said in a statement.

Some upgrades to the store included: new infrastructure, including bathrooms, cases and refrigeration; and a new parking lot with eCart delivery service spots for “click and collect,” giving customers the option to pick up grocery items at the store.

The newly redesigned and remodeled store’s kitchen will offer a selection of grab-and-go prepared foods, chef-crafted sandwiches and salads. Catering options, such as gourmet cheeses and prepared meat products, will be available. The store’s new “wellbeing for everybody” department features clean-label health-and-body care products, and in the floral department, customers can order custom-made arrangements. Other specialty items at the store include gourmet pet treats made with human-grade ingredients.
