Weis Markets Opens Beer Cafe in Lebanon, Pa. Store

Offers 30-person seating for shoppers. Sunbury, Pa.-based grocer opens newest beer and wine cafe.

Shoppers at Weis Markets’ Lebanon, Pa. store can now sit and enjoy an adult beverage after filling their cart with groceries.

The Sunbury, Pa.-based grocer unveiled its newest beer and wine cafe during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 9 for the newly-remodeled store. The East Cumberland St. store’s new cafe features seating for 30 customers.

The Lebanon cafe will have a selection of 467 varieties of premium, craft and imported beer to sell as well as 670 varieties of domestic and imported wine. The cafe will also include a choice of six flavors of adult slushies from which shoppers can choose.

To celebrate the grand opening, representatives from Weis Markets presented donations of $500 to representatives of Agape Family Shelter and the Humane Society of Lebanon County.

Sunbury, Pa.-based Weis operates 197 stores in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and West Virginia.
