Burnett Dairy Cooperative will introduce new flavors of string cheese and artisan cheese at the Dairy-Deli-Bake Expo, which will be held in Houston June 5-7. The natural cheese products offer on-trend flavors to String Cheese.

Burnett Dairy’s new variety of natural mozzarella string cheese is blended with all-natural vegetables to create this protein-packed Garden Veggie String Cheese. Garden Veggie will join Burnett Dairy’s line up of innovative and fun string cheese flavors including: Pepperoni Pizza, Zesty Teriyaki, Hot Pepper Beef, Smoked and Creamy Original. Each piece is individually wrapped for convenient, on-the-go freshness.

Burnett Dairy Cooperative’s award-winning brand, Wood River Creamery, will introduce five new flavors and is moving to 100 percent rBST free. Alpha’s Morning Sun cheese is a fusion of cheddar and gruyere, combined with trending ingredients. The five new flavors include: Black Truffle, Mango Habanero, Chipotle Garlic, Espresso Brava and Applewood Smoked Sea Salt. Alpha’s Morning Sun cheese also comes in Roasted Red Pepper & Cracked Peppercorn, Pesto, Herbes de Provence, Rosemary and Original; Northwoods Cheddar rounds out the Wood River Creamery portfolio.

“Consumers have an increasing interest in knowing where their food comes from, which connects them to our farmer-owned cooperative story,” says Bryan Olson, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Burnett Dairy Cooperative. “They also have sophisticated palates and are looking for unique and bold flavors. Our Alpha’s Morning Sun flavors deliver on flavor, taste and creaminess while enhancing a recipe or simply pairing with a cracker.”

Wood River Creamery is also taking on a new look with a more artisanal label showcasing hand illustrated flavor cues, wine and beer pairings, and recipe suggestions.
