To mark the occasion, Welch’s Fresh Grapes and other produce offerings will be showcased at the C.H. Robinson booth during the Fruit Logistica show in Berlin, Germany from February 5-7. Through expanded distribution, C.H. Robinson, the exclusive marketer of Welch’s Fresh Grapes in North America for over fifteen years, aims to address the global demand for fresh fruits and vegetables. Welch’s Fresh Grapes have already met great fanfare in South Korea, China and Latin America. “Consumers are now, more than ever, influenced by the vast amount of produce that is available to them,” says Gary York, director of European sourcing at C.H. Robinson. “As a top produce supplier, C.H. Robinson combines a streamlined global grape supply program with the Welch’s worldwide brand in order to provide consumers with a quality product.” Fresh grapes are hand-selected to meet Welch’s exacting standards. “Welch’s is a beloved brand; one that consumers trust and that ensures quality and consistency,” says Wayne Lutomski, vice president of Welch’s International. “C.H. Robinson’s produce and supply chain expertise has been instrumental in the international expansion of Welch’s grapes.”
