In response to consumers’ growing demands for organic and vegetable-forward foods, C-Fresh, a division of the Campbell Soup Company, has introduced souplicity, a line of HPP (High Pressure Processing), fresh-refrigerated soups made using simple ingredients that are organic, non-GMO and preservative free. The four chef-inspired flavors are crafted from a combination of vegetables, fruits and on-trend ingredients like curry, ginger, poblano chiles and artisanal cheeses.

“While more than half of consumers are looking for foods that are both organic and made with simple, recognizable ingredients, there has been minimal innovation in the fresh-refrigerated soup category to meet these demands,” says Todd Putman, general manager, C-Fresh CPG. “With souplicity, we’re bringing bold flavors and variety to consumers who crave a fresh culinary twist on a classic.”

The souplicity line is short on ingredients, without sacrificing high-quality taste, and can be found in the refrigerated section of Earth Fare markets beginning in December 2016. The four flavor-rich varietals include: Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Gouda, a twist on a classic that combines red peppers and tomatoes with a delicate blend of olive oil and basil and a decadent finish of gouda cheese; Carrot Curry Ginger, a bold blend of sweet carrots and ginger seasoned with curry spices and a hint of lime; Corn Poblano Lime, a union of sweet corn and poblano peppers with cilantro, cumin and a touch of lime; and Broccoli Parmesan Lemon, an epicurean upgrade to a traditional favorite where nutty parmesan is blended with broccoli and a trace of lemon.

All souplicity soups are organic, non-GMO and preservative free, and are available in BPA-free 17.6-ounce containers for $5.99.
