The Eli's Cheesecake Company of Chicago has introduced its tart line. Eli's Tarts capitalize on the trend of offering individual-sized desserts, say company officials. Each tart is baked in a crisp, housemade all-butter pâte sucrée crust, baked to a golden brown.

The Salted Caramel Tart features butter, sugar and salt. It has layers of house made caramel and bittersweet chocolate ganache, topped with a sprinkle of coarse salt.

The Lemon Tart is a balance between a smooth tart lemon filling and a crispy sweet base and dusted with powdered sugar.

The Cheesecake Tart is a new way to enjoy Eli's Original Plain Cheesecake, say company officials. It is made with the finest ingredients and pure Madagascar vanilla, baked to a golden brown.

The Butter Tart is Eli's spin on Canada's most celebrated dessert, made with a sweet mixture of butter, brown sugar and eggs, resulting in the perfect chewy, gooey contrast to the crisp crust, add officials.
