First Fresh Foods is expanding its fresh-to-market offerings to include Chicken Meatballs appearing in refrigerated meat sections of grocery stores.

The Chicken Meatballs come in two varieties: Italian Style Chicken Sausage Meatballs and Italian Chicken Sausage Meatballs. The Italian Style Chicken Sausage Meatballs are made with ground white breast chicken meat, basil, garlic, parmesan and Romano cheeses. The Italian Chicken Sausage Meatballs offer a wholesome alternative with ground Italian chicken sausage. Both varieties of Chicken Meatballs have more than 70 percent less fat than Italian pork/beef meatballs, are lower in calories and are gluten-free. The serving size is two meatballs with 19-grams of protein for Italian Style and 18-grams of protein for Italian Chicken Sausage. The suggested retail price is $4.99.

“Our new meatballs provide a tasty alternative to traditional meatballs that many consumers are clamoring for – and a tasty gluten-free meal for those with health restrictions,” says First Fresh Foods CEO William Jennings.
