HP Hood, a New England dairy brand, has rolled out Hood Eggnog for the 2016 holiday season. Traditional Hood Golden Eggnog will be joined this year by three additional flavors: Pumpkin, Vanilla and Sugar Cookie. All flavors are available in quart-sized containers and Golden Eggnog is also available in a half gallon and 14-ounce size.

Golden is the No. 1 Hood Eggnog flavor and a traditional favorite for more than 50 years. The Vanilla flavor has pure vanilla extract makes this a creamy holiday treat. Pumpkin features real pumpkin puree and aromatic pumpkin pie spices, and Sugar Cookie returns in 2016 with a flavor evokes the fresh out-of-the-oven taste of a holiday sugar cookie.

“We know that Hood Eggnog is an important part of many families’ holiday traditions,” says Sarah Barow, director of communications for HP Hood. “We’re excited to announce this year’s flavor variety, as there is a delicious Hood Eggnog for every taste this holiday season.”

Hood Eggnog is not only great to enjoy as a traditional holiday drink, but also can serve as a unique ingredient in dessert and breakfast recipes such as Golden Eggnog Cake, Bread Pudding, French Toast and more, say company officials.
