January 1, 2018
Idea Garden Marketing is bringing a fresh face to produce marketing, making its’ official debut at Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure conference in Orlando this weekend. From marketing strategy to overall branding, website development to social media strategy and implementation, Idea Garden Marketing has positioned itself to cultivate brands and grow businesses across the industry, say company officials. Founders of Idea Garden Marketing, John and Kim Avola, have a combined eleven years of marketing experience in the industry. As former vice president and six year veteran at Produce for Kids, Kim’s experience taking the company from a simple point-of-sale program to a year-round, multi-channel organization that worked with retailers, suppliers and consumers, offers the ideal platform for the new full-service marketing company. John’s strong background in digital marketing provides him with the ability to take brands to the next level online. In addition to their integrity based foundation and out-of-the-box thinking, Idea Garden Marketing also believes in helping to make the world a better place. They are proud to donate 3% of all fees to any non-profit organization of their clients’ choice. “We are thrilled to officially launch a full service marketing company focusing on produce. With John’s experience in digital marketing and my insight, it just made sense,” says Kim Avola, founder and managing partner. “Our passion for the industry and backgrounds gives Idea Garden Marketing the foundation needed to build successful brands, all while helping causes that are important to our clients.” Idea Garden Marketing is already making a statement in the industry, and specifically at Southern Exposure this year, by developing 2014southernexposure.com and managing the Southeast Produce Council’s online registration and new ExpoBadge process. Idea Garden Marketing has spearheaded other projects such as management of Southeast Produce Council’s social media and seproducecouncil.com, as well as the development of the new spccharitygolfclassic.com website.
