Potandon Produce is pleased to be teaming up with Unilever North America on its popular Country Crock Spreads to provide consumers with a savings when purchasing both potatoes and Country Crock products. Beginning mid-March, selected Potandon consumer bags will carry a $1.00 off instant redeemable kwik-lok coupon when two Country Crock Spreads and the potatoes are purchased together. Fresh potatoes in 3-, 5-, 8- and 10-pound bags packed in the Green Giant Fresh, Klondike Brands, SunFresh and select private label bags packed by Potandon Produce will carry these valuable coupons which will expire on July 31, 2014. Country Crock Spreads provide a buttery and country fresh taste to an array of veggie side dishes, and as a simple swap for butter, they’re a better nutrition choice for families. Country Crock has 70% less saturated fat than butter, no partially hydrogenated oils and 0 grams of trans fat per serving, say company officials. Starting this March, Country Crock will begin a powerful television and digital marketing campaign featuring Country Crock as an integral ingredient to making homemade mashed potatoes creamy and delicious. By partnering with Potandon, the largest fresh potato marketer in the nation, Country Crock hopes to encourage trial of their family of products as part of an overall meal solution to making all family-favorite dishes creamy and delicious. Potandon Produce will have additional point of sale materials available to highlight the promotion to consumers at store level. Additionally an aggressive email and online social media program will be launched to support the promotion.
