In addition to celebrating a five-year anniversary, the Produce for Kids Blog is celebrating the addition of five new regular contributors. Two registered dietitians and social influencers, a full-time working dad and home chef and a Latina blogger and grandmother are set to join the current roster in providing a flow of regular content to the Produce for Kids family audience.

Visitors to the Produce for Kids Blog, which publishes content twice weekly, can find everything from tips to save money in the produce department, how to create a weekly meal plan, easy seasonal recipe ideas, kitchen organizing advice, and more, say company officials. The blog’s psychologist has tackled family topics like body image, lunchroom bullies and managing stress about food.

“Our team of blog contributors take into consideration what they are hearing from their online audiences and what’s happening in their own homes before creating posts for the Produce for Kids audience,” says Trish James, vice president at Produce for Kids. “What’s great is that every contributor has their own niche so the content is very diverse.”

Now joining forces with Estela Schnelle of WeeklyBite.com, the current Produce for Kids registered dietitian, is Katie Serbinski, author of MomToMomNutrition.com and Holley Grainger of HolleyGrainger.com. The Produce for Kids RDs play a key role in approving all new recipes added to produceforkids.com, helping families dissect nutrition labels, offering advice on well-balanced lunch options and more.

Katie is a Millennial mom of two and a registered dietitian who focuses on delivering authentic and relatable info to her readers. Holley is also a mom of two, a registered dietitian, nutrition consultant and the former nutrition editor for CookingLight.com and MyRecipes.com.

Derek Campanile, the blog’s newest dad, is a passionate home cook, creating delicious and easy-to-follow meals through his blog Dad With A Pan. He knows what it’s like to be a busy full-time working dad trying to get healthy meals on the table and works hard to share new meals to help other parents.

Grandmother, step-mom, wife and author of AdrianasBestRecipes.com, Adriana Martin will bring her Latin influence to the group. LATISM has recognized Adriana as the Top 100 most influential Latina bloggers due to her contributions to the blogosphere, influence in social media and involvement with the community helping raising awareness about child hunger.

“In addition to offering our audience the content they are looking for on a regular basis, we are also able to connect our blog contributors to the brands who partner with us. We utilize their expertise on our Twitter parties and in the Ask the Expert series,” adds James. “Our blog contributors are essentially our front line when it comes to encouraging families to eat more fruits and veggies.”

The new blog contributors join current contributors Estela Schnelle, RD of WeeklyBite.com,  Dr. Stephanie of DrStephanieSmith.com, Christine Pittman of CookTheStory.com, Aggie Goodman ofAggiesKitchen.com, Brenda Thompson of MealPlanningMagic.com and Aleks Nearing ofBusyWorkingMama.com.
