During the month of December, Pure Flavor will be donating thousands of pounds of fresh vegetables each week to these organizations. Jamie Moracci, president of Pure Flavor states, “These donations are our way of supporting families in need, and helping them to enjoy their holiday meals a little more this season.” Every month, 850,000 Canadians visit a food bank and more than 50 million Americans struggle to put food on the table daily, say officials at Pure Flavor. This holiday season, the Pure Flavor family has spread the word and joined the fight against hunger. For those who would like to join the fight to end hunger by making a monetary donation, hosting a food drive, or joining the fundraising team in Canada, please visit www.foodbankscanada.ca and in the United States, please visit www.feedingamerica.org.
