Sabra Dipping Company has expanded its line of all natural guacamole with the launch of Veggie Fusions, a new concept in packaged guacamole. Veggie Fusions are made with Haas avocados blended with a variety of fresh cut, crisp and chunky vegetables, adding fresh flavor and reducing the overall fat content by 30 percent, according to company officials. Sabra Guacamole Veggie Fusions will launch with Mango Lime, Garden Vegetable, and South Western varieties.

"More than two-thirds of American consumers purchase avocados," says Tracy Luckow, marketing director for Sabra Dipping Company. "And we've all fallen for Guacamole in a big way. In expanding our successful line of products, we kept true to what people enjoy, the chunky avocado and clean flavor while adding even more great taste by blending in the best, freshest vegetables for an absolute breakthrough in guacamole. The added benefit is not only more flavor but a reduced fat content, which is win-win even for those of us who appreciate the good fat content in guacamole."

The concept for Veggie Fusions was born out of insights that indicated consumers were eager to try new innovations in guacamole and would welcome reduced fat per serving, officials add. Sabra noticed consumers adding new flavors and veggies to their guacamole in restaurants, recipes and on social media.

Made with fresh, ripe Hass avocado, each flavor is then packed with a variety of colorful and nutritious vegetables picked at the height of ripeness, adding antioxidants, fiber and vitamins. The Garden Vegetable variety features carrots, peppers, tomatoes, herbs and spices. The South Western variety includes corn, peppers, onions, black beans, garlic and tomatoes. Mango Lime is packed with flavorful mango, lime and herbs.

Veggie Fusions will be available in the deli section of grocery stores and supermarkets nationwide. All three varieties are vegan, kosher, gluten-free and made with the best quality ingredients. The suggested retail price is $3.99 for a 7-ounce container.
