The Laughing Cow has introduced its newest innovation, Cheese Dippers, a portable, individually portioned snack featuring The Laughing Cow's creamy cheese and crunchy breadsticks. The brand's new offering is designed to address consumers' increasingly on-the-go lifestyles and appeals to adults and children alike. Each serving provides an excellent source of calcium, delivers four grams of protein, and contains no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, according to company officials. These factors combined with great taste and convenience make Cheese Dippers an ideal snack choice to savor on the go, officials add.

"The release of Cheese Dippers ties perfectly into The Laughing Cow's current Reinvent Snacking campaign, which aims to bring mindful satisfaction to consumers' unique snacking experiences," says Dan Waters, chief marketing officer at Bel Brands USA, parent company to The Laughing Cow. "With its portability, Cheese Dippers gives our consumers the chance to snack adventurously."

On-the-go snacking continues to be a top consumption trend. According to a 2014 study by market research firm Mintel, 29 percent of consumers consider single-serve packaging as the second most important factor when choosing a snack and 73 percent of Americans are snacking away from home. This is even more prominent for the Millennial consumer, the future moms and dads who will be purchasing snack cheese for their families, with 85 percent of Millennials eating snacks away from home.

"Parents are looking for on-the-go snacks that not only their children can enjoy, but they can love as well. We have seen the popularity of dipping options increase recently and we saw an opportunity to leverage the trend and satisfy our consumer's needs with this new product," adds Waters.

Cheese Dippers is currently rolling out on store shelves and will reach nationwide distribution by May 2016 with two flavor varieties – Creamy Swiss with Classic Breadsticks and Creamy Swiss with Tomato & Herb Breadsticks. Cheese Dippers will be sold as both individual single-serve packs and five-pack boxes for suggested retail prices of $1.49 and $4.99, respectively, however pricing is at the sole discretion of the retailer.
