The Produce Mom’s School Foodservice Program to Launch in Indianapolis

Indianapolis Fruit’s The Produce Mom has partnered with Indiana Celebrities & Heroes to inspire healthy eating amongst children via their school foodservice program, Find Your Favorite. Through a series of promotional posters, grocery offers, educational materials and events – children will be encouraged to try fruits and vegetables to find their favorite. Find Your Favorite will launch this week at Indianapolis Public Schools.  Dr. Eugene White, Superintendent of Indianapolis Public Schools, praised the Find Your Favorite program by saying: "We understand the connection between healthy eating and learning. We also know many of our children do not eat, or have access to fresh fruit and vegetables outside of school. We are proud of our partnership with Indianapolis Fruit and thank the Produce Mom for this initiative." The following individuals have been named Find Your Favorite Heroes & will appear on posters and videos with their favorite produce item.
