Avocados from Mexico (AFM) is kicking off the summer with a Heineken/Tecate national partnership to keep sales sizzling with the Grills Gone Loco promotion. The program leverages the peak season for outdoor BBQs and picnics for summer holidays by providing the ultimate summer solution through cross-merchandising Avocados From Mexico and Heineken/Tecate.

“Behind the Big Game, family celebrations are the second most popular avocado-serving occasion, and the summer season is all about friends and family gatherings and backyard BBQs,” says Maggie Hall, vice president, trade and promotion at AFM. “Through the creative avocado bins made to look like a grill and cross merchandising with Heineken/Tecate, we are catching those shoppers preparing for their summer gatherings and reminding them to include the always in season Avocados From Mexico in their celebrations.
