For the fifth consecutive year, GloriAnn Farms and its partner Five Crowns Marketing are saluting the Armed Forces with the annual “Support our Troops” campaign. For every retail case of sweet corn sold to participating retailers during the month of August, GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing will make a donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit organization providing support and assistance to military personnel and their families. Last year’s donation totaled $16,000, and this year the companies hope to exceed that contribution.

The tray packs of GloriAnn and Majesty corn will feature a special promotional sticker for the month of August. Also, available upon request for participating retailers are eye-catching posters, which communicate to the consumer information about the fund and the partnership. Retailers can order POS materials please online.

“We’re so excited to be promoting the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund for a fifth consecutive year,” says Mark Bacchetti, a principal and President of GloriAnn Farms. “The response from our customers has been so great every year, and the retail display materials really help increase awareness of the campaign for our customers at the retail level.”

"In the past four years, we've been able to make donations totaling over $71,000 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund," adds Daren Van Dyke, director of sales and marketing for Five Crowns Marketing. "We hope to set a new record in 2016. We’re simply doing our part to try to repay the debt we as Americans owe these heroes for the sacrifices they’ve made in service to our nation. The 'Support Our Troops' campaign is easily one of the most important things we do each year."
