Smithfield Foods, licensee of Nathan's Famous pre-packaged hot dogs, reminds consumers to celebrate the New Year by serving Nathan's Famous 100% Beef Franks at upcoming celebrations.

Consumers can visit the Nathan's Famous Facebook page to download one of 100,000 coupons that will provide an immediate savings of $1.00 off a six-pack of the reduced-fat hot dogs. 

"As we enter 2016, we want to remind our fans that Nathan's Famous offers the great taste of our beef franks they know and love in a reduced-fat variety," says Mike Paribello, senior director of marketing, Smithfield Foods. "Nathan's Famous 50% Reduced Fat 100% Beef Franks can be a delicious part of this year's New Year's Resolutions."

The bun-length, skinless beef franks are made with lean beef and Nathan's original seasonings, providing a healthier option for everyone to enjoy without sacrificing taste, officials say.
