Patrick Cudahy, the makers of sweet apple-wood smoked bacon, know just how much Wisconsinites love bacon. So they're bringing the best in bacon back to Baconfest Milwaukee on Valentine's Day.

Patrick Cudahy is returning as the presenting sponsor of 102.9 The HOG's fifth-annual Baconfest Milwaukee. This year's celebration of all things bacon is happening Sunday, February 14 at the Event Center inside the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and promises to be bigger, bolder and tastier than ever before, officials say. Festival attendees can delight in bacon-inspired creations from Milwaukee's best chefs, cooking demos and a never-ending supply of bacon fun, officials add.

"You can't have a bacon festival without the sweet apple-wood smoked flavor of Patrick Cudahy," says Bud Matthews, senior vice president, Patrick Cudahy. "Patrick Cudahy loves to celebrate traditions like Baconfest Milwaukee with our fans, because we've been a part of the community for more than 125 years. Baconfest is what Patrick Cudahy is all about: family, friends, fun and bacon."

Patrick Cudahy will be sampling their delicious Original Sweet Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon, which is still smoked the old-fashioned way in their original smokehouse in Cudahy, Wis. All-Natural Sweet Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon and Patrick Cudahy Thick Sliced Double Smoked Bacon are also on the sampling menu. Patrick Cudahy will have a photo booth. Everyone who stops by the Patrick Cudahy display will also be treated to bacon-inspired recipe cards, bacon hats and coupons, company officials add.
