Talking Rain Beverage Company, the maker of Sparkling Ice flavored sparkling waters, revealed a collaboration with DreamWorks Animation in support of the November release of the highly anticipated film "TROLLS." Leading up to the film's November 4 premiere, Sparkling Ice will kick off its "UnconTROLLable Flavor" campaign, which will feature a variety of elements including a major sweepstakes, limited-edition product packaging, advertising and in-store marketing support, field marketing, and a shopper rewards program that will offer over 3,000 prizes throughout the 3-month program.

UnconTROLLable Rewards
Sparkling Ice will commence the "UnconTROLLable Rewards" program, where purchases of Sparkling Ice products will earn consumers movie-related rewards as part of the collaboration with DreamWorks Animation. The program will surprise and delight shoppers in-stores via unique point-of-sale materials that allow consumers to interact with the TROLLS characters. Prizes include movie tickets, concession cash, music downloads, branded swag and more.

Sparkling Ice will also activate an "UnconTROLLable Screening Sweepstakes" via a Facebook contest that will allow fans to enter online sweepstakes to win a hometown screening of DreamWorks Animation's TROLLS. One winner and 100 of their friends will enjoy a private showing at their local theater, including concessions. Fans can enter for a chance to win via https://apps.facebook.com/my-contests/form/siuncontrollablescreening fromOctober 10th through November 18th, and the winner will be announced on November 23rd via email.  (Must be 18 to enter. Theater subject to availability. United States-only.)

Custom "Coloring Cans"
In honor of the film, Sparkling Ice will introduce a series of TROLLS fridge packs including limited-edition "coloring cans." Specially designed to allow kids (and adults!) to color directly on the packaging, the Color-the-Can packs include 8oz cans featuring popular TROLLS characters awaiting their vibrant colors. Fans can snap and share photos of their colorful creations online at the Sparkling Ice Facebook page, or by using the hashtag #UnconTROLLableFlavor.

Advertising & Field Marketing Support
Sparkling Ice will support the collaboration via a national advertising campaign consisting of television, print, digital, and out-of-home elements. Television ads will run locally and nationally on major networks, and the campaign will also include a series of print ads inspired by the limited-edition coloring cans. The print ads will appear as TROLLS-themed coloring page inserts in major magazines across key markets, and users will be encouraged to color the pages and share them on social media. Digital and out-of-home advertising will be centered around transportation hubs in markets including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit,Kansas City, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and Raleigh.

To promote and support the collaboration with DreamWorks Animation's TROLLS, Sparkling Ice will activate a series of sampling events across the nation. Unique activations will bring Sparkling Ice TROLLS product to various locations such as college campuses, community events, fitness events, spin classes and more.

"We are absolutely delighted to be working with DreamWorks once again, and are so pleased to be involved with a film that shares a message so reflective of our own," says Nina Morrison, VP of PR and Community Relations at Sparkling Ice. "Like the TROLLS, Sparkling Ice is a brand that encourages individuality and embraces the different personalities, flavors, and attitudes that 'color our world'."
