Tyson Foods Partners with Anthony Anderson for Holiday Video Campaign

Tyson Foods has launched a national shopper marketing program aimed at connecting retailers and their consumers, through engaging content staring Emmy nominated actor Anthony Anderson and his mother, Doris Bowman.

“A Season To Share” aims to break through the holiday clutter with humorous, unscripted videos starring the mother son duo sharing personal stories from past holiday tables and discussing how they use Tyson brand products like Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, among others, to add a twist to tried and true holiday dishes.

Tyson will roll out a series of nine holiday videos. The campaign kicked off with the Friendsgiving video, which offers a look at some of Anthony’s favorite Thanksgiving dishes, including Salted Caramel Dutch Apple Pie. Additional content will launch throughout the holiday months. Two additional long-form videos starring Anthony and Doris timed to The Big Holiday and New Year’s Eve, plus five additional ‘Tasty’-style videos featuring recipe ideas, with a VO from Anthony, on how to easily prepare the dish, will be released.

All content will live on the Season to Share microsite and will be further amplified on social by Anthony and the Tyson brands. The program is also being supported with print advertising, OLA, paid social and in-store advertising.
