TYLER, Texas — NASCAR fans in Texas don’t have to travel far to do their grocery shopping thanks to Brookshire Grocery Co.’s on-site track store at the Texas Motor Speedway.

The full-service store operates in a tent located at the Fort Worth speedway and offers an array of products, from fresh dairy, meats, produce, fresh coffee to breakfast burritos, fresh doughnuts, smoked chicken, ribs and sausage. All pricing is the same as that in regular stores.

“Out of respect for the fans, we utilize regular store prices rather than marking up at the track,” Brookshire’s writes in promotional materials.

The track store will operate throughout fall NASCAR events. A track store also operated during spring events.

“The reason we enjoy our affiliation with NASCAR through Texas Motor Speedway is that we love NASCAR fans,” the company states. “NASCAR fans are among the greatest, most loyal fans of any sport.”

Brookshire’s is the official grocery store of Texas Motor Speedway.

Along with operating the track store, it recently kicked off its first NASCAR promotion, featuring a sweepstakes, display contest and discounted products from Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods and others.

The five-week “Chase for the Savings” promotion ran in all 125 Brookshire stores in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
