ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Visitors to CouponNetwork.com stand to benefit from a new function that lets users maximize savings by viewing product-related video.
The value of a coupon for $1.40 off NatureSmart Ester-C, for instance, jumps to $1.85 for viewers of a 20-second commercial, and an offer for $1.10 off Nature’s Bounty Vitamins or Supplements increases by 50 cents.
“We’re really trying to take advantage of the flexibility and interactivity that being online offers, so instead of just distributing coupons we want to engage with rich media and attractive graphics,” said Susan Gear, general manager for Coupon Network, powered by Catalina Marketing Corp.
Last year Rite Aid began providing exclusive coupons to website visitors as incentive for viewing videos as part of its Video Values program powered by Ad Perk.
