PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle has hit the road with a savings-themed mobile tour. The "Giant Eagle Savings Squad" will have stopped at 20 stores once its tour is complete at the end of this month.

"The Savings Squad is a team of savings enthusiasts who will provide our customers with information and tips on how to shop smart, eat well and save time and money," Giant Eagle promotional materials read. The tour is traveling on a customized yellow bus filled with interactive and informational activities, prizes and free samples.

The tour kicked off Sept. 28 and runs through this month in the Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Columbus areas.
