RALEIGH, N.C. — In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Harris Teeter has launched a “Story of the Year” online video contest.

The contest is open to all those who post a video of themselves at harristeeter.com sharing their favorite Harris Teeter experience. “Do you have special memories of shopping at Harris Teeter throughout the year?” Harris Teeter asks in promotional materials.

Harris Teeter will select one story as the grand-prize $2,500 winner. The winning entry will be judged on authenticity and relevancy. Online voters will select another winner who will get $1,000 in Harris Teeter gift cards. A third winner will be chosen at random to win a $500 gift card.

“Anyone can vote, so share your video with all your friends and get them to vote for you, or make sure you go online to view and vote for your favorite story,” Harris Teeter states. The contest kicked off Feb. 10 and runs through May 4.
