Hy-Vee to Host Friday the 13th Sale

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — No.13 is far from unlucky at Hy-Vee Food Stores.The retailer will host a “lucky 13-hour sale” this Friday, Jan. 13.

Among the sale items to be offered between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.: Banquet Dinners, 4 to 10.25 ounces, 59 cents each, limit 12; Ragu Pasta Sauce, 16 to 24 ounces, 99 cents, limit three; and Wonder White Bread, 16 to 20 ounces, 99 cents, limit 2.

Hy-Vee promoted the event on its Facebook page. The retailer asked its Facebook friends to state which items they would like to see on sale more often. Of the more than 150 responses, many stated they would like to see the retailer offer double coupons.
