WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Lowes Foods here will replace its Greenpoints rewards program tomorrow with a new Fresh Rewards loyalty program, spokeswoman Debbie Williams told SN.

Greenpoints participants will be automatically enrolled in the new program, according to reports. Although shoppers will no longer earn Greenpoints in Lowes locations, they can redeem previously earned Greenpoints for products and gift cards on greenpoints.com for up to two years.

Beginning tomorrow, Fresh Rewards shoppers will earn rewards on eligible products. Once they’ve earned $5 in rewards, they’ll receive a “Fresh Rewards cash” coupon that can be used during subsequent shopping trips.
