STEVENS POINT, Wis. — NARMS International here said Friday it has launched a new online training center for marketing representatives, called NARMScertifyU.

The program launched March 1 with eight training courses priced at $15 each. Courses currently available are: Retail Visit Excellence, Merchandising Standards, Demonstrations, Event Marketing, Fixture Installation, Mystery Shopping, Train the Trainer and Team Lead Skills. More courses are planned.

"Marketing representatives who earn course certificates will improve their skill set, gain broader retail knowledge and increase their overall job satisfaction," the association said in a prepared statement. "NARMS member companies will benefit by gaining a centralized learning center, enhancing their team’s skill set, reducing workforce turnover and improving their workforce quality and productivity."

NARMS partnered with BDS Marketing, a California-based retail marketing agency, to build, manage and promote the online learning center.
