ST. LOUIS — Discount retailer Save-A-Lot has introduced a new coupon program that provides exclusive savings and lets members submit, rate and review recipes.

Members can enroll via www.savealotsavings.com. Among other benefits, they’ll also get to submit product reviews.

To encourage shoppers to sign up for the “Smart Shopper Coupon Program,” the Supervalu banner is offering coupons for $5 off a $25 purchase. Shoppers will get additional $5 coupons for other people they refer to the program. They are allowed up to five additional coupons.

The coupons can be downloaded via the Save-A-Lot website.
