KEASBEY, N.J. — ShopRite shoppers can now load coupons to their loyalty cards.

It’s all part of a partnership between Wakefern Food Corp. and Coupons.com. After registering their ShopRite Price Plus Club card information at www.shoprite.com/coupons, shoppers can select the coupons they want and when their ShopRite Price Plus Club card is entered or swiped at checkout, coupons are automatically deducted from the total.

The new “Save to Card” coupon gallery complements ShopRite’s current collection of online printable coupons (also powered by Coupons.com), which it has offered since 2008.

“ShopRite is dedicated to helping shoppers save money, and the new Save to Card coupon gallery is just another way we are doing just that,” Joe Sheridan, Wakefern’s executive vice president, said in a statement. The deal comes as a growing number of retailers are offering coupons that can be downloaded to loyalty cards.

“It is an easy way to use coupons for consumers who would rather not print and organize coupons,” Steven Boal, chief executive officer of Coupons.com, said in a statement.
