LOS ANGELES — Unified Grocers here said Monday it will partner with Brand Coupon Network, Metairie, La., to launch "Coupons for Miracles" in September — a program designed to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network through online couponing.

Under the program, consumers who visit www.CouponsforMiracles.org or an affiliate website can print out desired coupons and receive the full amount of the savings on participating brands, with all funds generated going to the Chidren's Miracle Network hospital in the community where the coupons are redeemed. Brand sponsors who participate will be charged only for coupons redeemed, rather than being charged every time a coupon is printed from a website.

"Because participating companies only pay for redeemed coupons, participating in 'Coupons for Miracles' is a cost-effective marketing spend tying brands to a noble cause," Dan Abraham, founder of Brand Coupon Network, said.
