It is no secret that food trucks are all the rage... especially in urban dwellings, like Grocery Headquarters' hometown of New York City. But it seems the food truck idea is now going to the dogs... literally. Reported on ModernFarmer.com last month, there are a number of food trucks out there catering to man's best friend. The article lists four:

The best part is that they not only cater to canines, they cater to specific canine diets. Poochsicles & Bark Bites, for example, it offers corn- and grain-free treats, and Fido to Go offers organic and gluten-free treats. It is no question that dogs - and cats for that matter - have established themselves as part of the family, deserving of the same treatment and quality of products as their human counterparts. Just ask the team over at GHQ's sister publication, Pet Business. So, if dog's are demanding the same fresh natural foods that human consumers are trending towards, why not the same retail mediums? Smart dogs will lay off the chasing cars... and start chasing food trucks.
