LAS VEGAS — The National Grocers Association held its annual show — “Where Independents Gather” — at The Mirage Hotel & Casino here, for the third year running. NGA reported that “the four-day show was one of the largest in NGA history, with over 2,700 in attendance including retailers, wholesalers and industry partners.” The entire show floor was sold out with 196 exhibitors, “plus the North American Meat Association's MEATEXPO and an expanded Produce Pavilion in conjunction with the Product Marketing Association.” NGA will return to the Mirage for the 2014 show on Feb. 9-12.
