GoGo squeeZ, the maker of all-natural 100 percent fruit in a pouch, embarked on a multi-year partnership with Olympic Gold Medalist, three-time Olympian and child nutrition advocate, Dominique Dawes. GoGo squeeZ has named Dawes the GoGo squeeZ Goodness Ambassador. In this role, she will help to improve the nutrition habits and overall wellness of America’s youth, while making it easier for kids and families to be a little healthier and happier every day, company officials say.

Earlier this year, GoGo squeeZ announced a long-term partnership with Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK), a nonprofit that works to create healthier schools nationwide. With AFHK bringing nutrition and physical activity programs to more than 29,000 schools and millions of students and families, and Dawes educating and empowering others to adopt a healthy lifestyle through her work on the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, both are ideal partners for GoGo squeeZ to expand its goodness influence and teach lifelong healthy eating habits to families across the country.

“While thinking through the criteria for our first-ever GoGo squeeZ Goodness Ambassador, we prioritized someone who shared our mission of providing healthy nutrition for kids,” says Philippe Harousseau, chief marketing officer, Materne North America Corp., the maker of GoGo squeeZ. “As the co-chair of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, and a mother to two young children, Dominique Dawes understands the need for healthy on-the-go snacks that are both nutritious and delicious, and shares our passion for squeezing more goodness into every day. We are extremely excited to expand our goodness influence through this new partnership with Dominique.”

As the GoGo squeeZ Goodness Ambassador, Dominique will be actively involved in the ongoing partnership with AFHK, which features a multitude of activities including a visit to a lucky school receiving one of the 50 School Grants for Healthy Kids funded by GoGo squeeZ. These grants provide funding and technical assistance to support schools in implementing AFHK’s Game On program of physical activity and nutrition initiatives. During this visit, Dominique will encourage students to be more active and responsible for their nutrition habits by leading an instructional workout and sharing how students and staff alike can train for a lifetime of healthy choices.

“With fitness and nutrition being such a huge part of my life, I wanted to partner with a brand that is all about teaching kids to do something healthy. By working with GoGo squeeZ and AFHK, we can teach kids fun ways to incorporate better nutrition habits and physical activity into their daily lives,” says Dawes. “I was taught at a very young age that fueling my body for success was important. As the GoGo squeeZ Goodness Ambassador, I’m excited to work with the brand to pass down that same knowledge and help kids develop better eating and snacking habits to fuel their success.”
