Vegetable brand Green Giant has launched a one-year partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Green Giant brand has committed to donating $250,000 to support the mission and help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food.

"Our mission at Green Giant is to help families live healthier by inspiring people to eat more vegetables, so the partnership with St. Jude is a natural fit as the hospital is dedicated to the well- being of children," says Jordan Greenberg, vice president and general manager for Green Giant. "Together, we hope to encourage people everywhere to take part in helping more children live and thrive."

As part of this commitment, the St. Jude logo will appear on the brand's new Green Giant veggie tots.

Green Giant veggie tots—filled with vegetables such as cauliflower and broccoli instead of potatoes—are an easy way to add more veggies to your family's mealtime and can be enjoyed as a side dish or an appetizer.

"St. Jude Children's Research Hospital relies on support from generous partners like Green Giant, which helps us honor our commitment that no family pays St. Jude for anything, because all they should worry about is helping their child live," says Richard Shadyac Jr., president and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "By featuring the St. Jude logo on its new product packaging, Green Giant is helping to raise awareness of our mission to find cures and save the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases."
