MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P here on Friday said it had completed renovation of its Bergenfield, N.J., Pathmark store, offering area shoppers a wider variety of kosher foods in a store staffed by a certified Mashgiach responsible for supervising the production of all things kosher.

With triple the assortment of kosher products and the availability of fresh kosher meat and seafood, Pathmark said its upgraded Bergenfield store is a one-stop shop for kosher shoppers and also offers a wide selection of non-kosher grocery items.

In addition to new kosher meat and deli departments, the 54,000-square-foot store offers prepared kosher foods, including egg rolls, fried chicken, stuffed cabbage rolls, kugel and knishes, Pathmark said. Customers will also find kosher appetizers, including a new assortment of kosher cheeses. The remerchandised kosher bakery offers kosher bread and kosher sweets, such as chocolate and cinnamon babka.
