Ocean Mist Farms Receives Economic Vitality Award

Ocean Mist Farms is being honored by the Monterey County Business Council for its contribution to agriculture in Monterey County. “Ocean Mist Farms has been a world-renowned leader in agriculture for decades, placing Monterey County (Castroville, Calif.) on the international map as the leader in artichoke production, marketing and promotion,” says Mary Ann Leffel, president, Monterey County Business Council.  “The value of having a recognized logo worldwide is invaluable to the promotion of agricultural production in our region.” Joe Pezzini, chief operating officer, Ocean Mist Farms, says, "We appreciate the recognition from the Monterey County Business Council and graciously accept this award along with our esteemed colleagues from the county."
