DoorDash is expanding liquor delivery to Food Lion, Hannaford, Giant Food, MARTIN’S, Stop & Shop, Buy Rite Liquors, Big Red Liquors, and all of Spirits Unlimited and Stew Leonard’s Wines and Spirits.

“In 2023, the total number of liquor stores available on DoorDash in the U.S. increased by more than 60%,” Fuad Hannon, VP of new verticals for DoorDash, said in a press release. “As consumers enjoy the best of their communities conveniently and safely, local merchants are growing their businesses while Dashers have more earnings opportunities.”

The last-mile delivery company has also added new features that enables their grocery and liquor store partners to better promote the products.

That includes promoting sponsored products for alcohol at the point of sale through DoorDash’s Ads Manager UI and through its API partners, the company said.

The company also is offering branded campaigns for special events such as St. Patrick’s Day and Cinco de Mayo.

High-impact carousels, which will be available later in June, will also enable grocers and others to “combine brand assets with a shoppable selection of products, similar to an in-store end cap,” DoorDash said.
