Coborn's Hires In-store Dietitian

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Coborn’s has hired its first retail dietitian to provide private consultations and public programs at stores in the St. Cloud area.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Coborn’s has hired its first retail dietitian to provide private consultations and public programs at stores in the St. Cloud area.

The dietitian will lead free store tours, cooking demos and health-themed classes, as well as meet with customers privately on request to discuss diet and nutrition concerns.

She will also contribute regularly to Coborn’s blog.

“We believe Coborn’s can positively influence the health of our communities by giving customers tools and resources for making healthy food-related decisions,” Coborn’s President and CEO Chris Coborn said in a statement. “We’re pleased to now have a registered dietitian in our stores, who is ready to help customers right at the store shelf, where they are deciding which foods to bring home to their families.”

Programs will take place at select stores in St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids and Sartell, Minn.
