Barbara’s is bringing back its Pumpkin Puffins for the fall 2016 season. As a result of positive feedback from retailers last year, the flavor is back on shelves through December, or while supplies last, company officials say.

A nod to Barbara’s signature line of Puffins Cereal, Pumpkin Puffins are lightly sweetened with real pumpkin, a seasonal favorite and on-trend ingredient.

“It’s important to us that we listen to what our customers want, and given that Pumpkin Puffins was such a crowd-pleaser last year, we wanted to offer people the opportunity to enjoy it again,” says Tim Kenny, director of marketing at Barbara’s. “We love creating delicious and fun new flavors that provide a clean nutritional profile, and Pumpkin Puffins delivers on just that. It’s a perfect and wholesome way to take care of your pumpkin spice cravings this season!”

Barbara’s Pumpkin Puffins contain eight grams of whole grains and three grams of fiber per serving. The cereal is also low fat, gluten-free, vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified, and like all other Barbara’s products, made without hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup. While many pumpkin spice products on the market are incredibly sweet, Pumpkin Puffins only has five grams of sugar per serving. The flavor can be eaten alone as a snack, with milk or any non-dairy alternative, and also makes for a fun addition to fall recipes.

Barbara’s offers a full line of cereals and snacks, including popular consumer favorites like Puffins cereals, Snackimals cereals and cookies, Morning Oat Crunch, Better Than Granola, Cheese Puffs and more. Barbara’s products are available nationally at major retail grocery stores and natural food stores.
