Registered dietitians and nutrition educators have had a significant impact on the ways food retailers market health and wellness to their customers. However, several questions are still being answered, among them: What education requirements or certifications should they possess? How should the communicate with buyers and merchandisers? And, perhaps most important, how can retailers measure the ROI of hiring a dietitian?
