-- Supervalu's Midwest regional office here last week named nine employees to new posts.
Jack Carlile, formerly a retail business consultant at the Minneapolis-based wholesaler's Quincy, Fla., facility, was promoted to area marketing director for retailers served by the Midwest division. Bill Chew and Sheila Ranney were appointed regional vice president of business development and vice president of finance, respectively.
Lee Johnson was promoted to vice president of marketing. His former post, area marketing director for Green Bay, Wis., was filled by Jeff McClure, previously director of advertising for the Midwest region. Mike Owart replaces McClure in that position.
Sandy Keiser was promoted to regional credit manager in the finance department, and Nick Linsalata has been hired as regional communication manager. Jim Schnaedter was named director of quality improvement and customer service.
Associated Taps Four New VPs
BATON ROUGE, La. -- As part of a senior management restructuring, Associated Grocers here has appointed four executives to vice president, a newly created title.
Darin M. Arceneaux was appointed vice president of finance and accounting and was selected as an officer by the board of directors, to serve as treasurer. Bart M. Palmisano Sr. has been named vice president of sales and marketing. Clayton F. Lester was appointed vice president of advertising and corporate communications. John P. Schittone Jr. has been named vice president of human resources. All four executives will report to J.H. Campbell Jr., president of Associated.
