Kroger's Nashville Division Ratifies Agreement with UFCW Local 1995

The Kroger Co. announced that associates working at 93 stores in the company's Nashville division have ratified a new labor agreement with Local 1995.

The Kroger Co. announced that associates working at 93 stores in the company's Nashville division have ratified a new labor agreement with Local 1995.

The agreement covers 12,000 associates working in Middle and East Tennessee, North Alabama and South Kentucky.

"We are pleased to reach an agreement that is good for our associates. This new contract provides wage increases, affordable health care and ongoing investment in our associates' pension fund to support their retirement," says Zane Day, president of Kroger's Nashville division. "This agreement comes after thoughtful and productive work by both the company and the union bargaining committees. I appreciate our associates for supporting the agreement and for the excellent service they provide our customers every day."

Kroger's Nashville division includes 93 stores in Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky.
