CINCINNATI — Kroger Co. has launched a basketball-themed promotion that includes blogs by Texas A&M’s Mark Turgeon and other college coaches.
Running through April 6, the “March to Savings” promotion centers on a “Hit the Hoops” game. Players can instantly win one of 80,000 prizes, including a free 20-ounce bottle of Coke Zero, California pizza kitchen frozen pizza and a package of Oscar Mayer hot dogs. Once registered, shoppers can play the game daily.
Also, players that register via any Kroger banner website will be automatically entered in a sweepstakes to win one of 50 Pop-A-Shot home basketball machines.
Turgeon’s most recent blog addressed his first experience in an NCAA tournament. Other bloggers include Sean Miller, head coach of University of Arizona’s basketball team; and Gene Keady, basketball analyst and former head coach at Purdue University.
