BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Wal-Mart Stores here has been honored by Mass Connections, a national in-store marketing firm, for its efforts to preserve the entrepreneurial spirit of American business. La Mirada, Calif.-based Mass Connections credits Wal-Mart for encouraging smaller local demonstration companies to work in its stores.
