MISSISSAUGUA, Ontario — Walmart Canada here said Friday that it had reduced prices on staple food items at its stores in Western Canada including milk, eggs, bread and butter.

MISSISSAUGUA, Ontario — Walmart Canada here said Friday that it had reduced prices on staple food items at its stores in Western Canada including milk, eggs, bread and butter.

The new prices went into effect Friday at all Walmart locations from Manitoba to British Columbia. The price reductions are in addition to 10,000 “rollbacks” across all merchandise categories the retailer said it would make during the month of March.
