ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans here is hoping to fill shoppers’ carts with all the makings for recipes enjoyed during the cold months, during its Winter Menu Magazine Kickoff event this Saturday. The chain will host sampling stations featuring some of its most requested recipes, as well as tastes of new meal ideas featured in the latest issue of its quarterly Menu Magazine.

“Our Winter Menu Magazine offers all kinds of healthy, easy, affordable, and of course delicious recipes and meal ideas,” reads promotional information on Wegmans’ website. “This season we have returned to a more traditional focus and have featured some of our most popular recipes from the past.”

Pasta with Escarole, Beans and Sausage, Tomato Basil with Orzo Soup and Whole Grain Blueberry Muffins will be sampled during the event. The Menu Magazine Kickoff is the second storewide demo event hosted by the retailer this year.

On Jan. 17, Wegmans hosted Get Back on Track events designed to help shoppers maintain New Year’s resolutions to eat healthy and save money.
