A&P Names Guldin Chief Strategy Officer

A&P has appointed Andreas Guldin as chief strategy officer, the company said in a filing.

MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P has appointed Andreas Guldin as chief strategy officer, the company here said in a filing Wednesday. Guldin is a member of A&P's board of directors and in 2007 was named the company's executive managing director, strategy and corporate development.

Guldin is also an executive with the Tengelmann Group, A&P's largest shareholder. The appointment was effective Oct. 15.

A&P said Tuesday that its president and chief executive officer, Eric Claus, had left the company and that it had begun a search for a new CEO.
