SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper Supermarkets has introduced shoppers to Lauren Greutman, author of the couponing blog www.iamthatlady.com.

On the official Price Chopper blog, Greutman authors an article about how to save money at Price Chopper. She states that Price Chopper recently changed its coupon policy. It now double coupons up to 99¢ with a loyalty card.

“This simply means that if you have a 75¢ off coupon, it will automatically scan and deduct $1.50 off that item,” Greutman writes.

She notes that there are several exclusions to this rule, including one that states that shoppers cannot save more than 50% off their bills with doubled coupons.

She also suggestions that shoppers “like” the Price Facebook page for exclusive coupons, and print out promotional offers from on www.pricechopper.com every Thursday through Saturday.
