AUSTIN, Texas — In a contest for the customers with whom it communicates via the Twitter social networking site, Whole Foods Market has challenged them to "tweet" their five-word food philosophies. The 10 most creative philosophies will win $50 Whole Foods Market gift cards plus five pounds of quinoa.

The contest ends Friday. The chain already awarded prizes to its one millionth Twitter follower.

"We're having a blast interacting with our customers on Twitter," said Bill Tolany, global coordinator of Integrated Media for Whole Foods Market.
